This larger rendition of the Glass Troll Cave was commissioned by the Future Gallery to be presented at the Lyon Biennial. Similar to the smaller Glass Troll Cave, the glass structure, raw steel, and clear plastic upholstery established a transparency that left the viewer somehow part of the spectacle.

APD assisted Jon Rafman with the concept development, the design, 3d modelling, production CAD exhibition drawings, and fabrication of the steel, glass, and upholstery. APD coordinated crating and transport of the work to Lyon.

The Glass Troll Cave (Quad) was exhibited at the Lyon Biennial n 2015. In 2016 the work became part of the Julia Stoschek collection and exhibited in the inaugural exhibition of their new Berlin gallery space.
